Allison Iraheta shifts from America Idol pop to incindiary bilingual rock in debut album

Allison Iraheta (“American Idol” Season 8 finalist) collaborated with double platinum producer and bassist/keyboardist Matthew Hager to form an iconic bilingual band in LA, Halo Circus, drawing on Iraheta’s El Salvadoran heritage.  They recruited drummer Veronica Bellino of Jeff Beck and master guitarist Brian Stead. The band blows away crowds with infectious, unapologetic, heart pounding, gut-wreching alternative rock  and flaming ballads in English and Spanish built around Iraheta’s seductive, powerhouse vocals and the band’s crowd-moving rhythms.  They have just released their debut album, Bunny by Allison Iraheta and the band Halo Circus to critical acclaim and over-the-top pre-orders.  Their 30-city tour, scheduled through Road, is starting soon. Mu’scaFusionLA was at the official album launch party at Katy Perry’s recording studio, Sphere Studios in North Hollywood, and saw firsthand the excitement that Bunny has ignited in the LA bilingual music community.  We are pleased to welcome Allison Iraheta and Matthew Hager to Mu’sicaFusionLA.
